After countless injuries and chronic pain from many years of provincial gymnastics training, Courtney O'Reilly sought a new form of physical practice. When her mother introduced her to yoga in 2010, she was instantly hooked and noticed the extraordinary benefits yoga had in healing her chronic pain.
Courtney practiced yoga throughout her four years at the University of Guelph studying Bio-Medical Sciences and she became particularly interested in the overlap of her anatomy class and yoga postures. Courtney had the opportunity to intricately study muscles, bones, and organs in the Human Anatomy Lab.
After graduating University in the spring of 2015, Courtney completed a one-month intensive 200 hour Ashtanga YTT at Downward Dog Yoga Centre in Toronto. She is currently drawn to alternative and holistic healing approaches to manage health … including teaching yoga! Courtney currently is volunteering with COPE Mental Health to facilitate group support sessions to fulfill her passion for helping others.
The Trubliss yoga teachers guided Courtney through her entire yoga journey and she hopes she can guide you in your yoga journey too!
