Kristin Allen, 350RYT
Kristin Allen started yoga as a hobby; to step out of the box, to try something new and to see what the craze was all about. She’s so glad she did. She’d never experienced quite a feeling like this before. After her very first class that she attended, Kristin felt energized but also enlightened. Her soul felt free and her heart open; she felt alive. Kristin’s journey had just begun.
Kristin was guided to a wonderful teacher, Ruth Dargan of Synergy Movement. By May of 2010, she completed 350 hours certification in yoga and also 50 hours certification in Pilates. Many hours of practice (self and with others), learning (from teachers and fellow students), growing (keeping an open mind), studying (endless amounts of anatomy, sanskrits, and postures), her love for the practice grew quickly from that first experience and she is honoured to be able to share that same feeling with others.
Kristin has practiced with and taken workshops led by a wide variety of teachers including Sadie Nardini, Simon Park, Seane Corn, and Mark Laham. She also had an amazing opportunity to be included in a few episodes of Sadie Nardini’s New York based television show called ‘Rock Your Yoga’. Kristin is in the process of completing certification in Sadie Nardini’s Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga.
